North Carolina’s most scenic drive, The Blue Ridge Parkway, stretches 250 miles across NC, from Cherokee and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, north to the Virginia/North Carolina border and beyond. With its spectacular scenery, its no wonder the Parkway has recently been designated an All-American Road by the Federal Highway Administration, and this is the highest designation bestowed on any road.
